went there this past wknd and placed our order...the waitress was useless. ordered 2 kinds of wings (got one) ordered coconut prawns (got none) service? what service....if she had come to check on us at all, i would have told her the wings were wrong and asked for my prawns...but she didnt come over , didnt even bring our bill or ask how our minimal food was. given...the wings were good...4 waitresses and 1 cook, 4 people in the bar and still shitty service....too bad cuz i was looking froward to this place...never again...bad reviews travel fast.

We go there frequently and always enjoy the food and service.

they have excellent food they have just revamped thier menu and it is excellent i go there for breakfast and lunch quite often.

They got rid of their chef recently. Ask them about their fish and chips. They are like frozen formed fish patties from the frozen section of the grocery store. Maybe this is the new way they are doing them?

I will say something other than negativity..
I have gone there many times for food and a few drinks and every time i have had a great experiance.Maybe something was wrong with those id's, (Mine is 20 yrs old and i get questioned on it as i only look 20something when i am actually 35)Maybe the food you sampled was not up to your standards for taste.
I wonder how they get nominated all the time for best pub of the year.

Careful on their food. Sometimes its fine, but many times its not. The food is cheap, but the quality just isn't there. Often they will do things like use stale bread, or their deep fryer has old dirty oil which ruins the food. I guess they figure that drunk people won't know the difference. Time to get a new cook and learn how to discard ingredients that are no longer fresh!

HORRIBLE! My friends and I wanted to check out a karaoke spot. We are all 19 and karaoke is a little lame for our age group but we figured it would be a lot of fun. We heard about Friendly Mikes so we went there and the service was terrible. They made us feel unwelcome and the waitress accused us of having fake ID's(even though we're all of legal age) and made a scene in front of everyone even the other customers. It was very embarrasing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
