Capital Restaurant

I have been going to this restaurant for years and have always had wonderful food. Perhaps you had a bad experience. Would have been helpful if you had explained your nasty comment. Perhaps you don't like good food! LOL

This is the best chinese food in the Lower mainland!, Having eaten in cities world wide, the Capital restaurant stand out on top of them all.
No matter what dish, it was NOT greasy, fresh produce, meats and Seafood used. From the lettuce wrap, to the soups, and any main course, I love the Singapore Prawns, Beef with walnuts, Teppan beef, and so on, I have never been disappointed and will travel the 75KM's to go there on Friday nights for the fresh Seafoods.
I took my friends there and although it was hard for everyone to agree on dishes, we were asked if we would accept a fee of $12-$15 per plate, and also asked our preferances. We were treated to meals that were not on the menu per se' but the plates kept coming and everyone was more than mildly overwhelmed at the variety and quality of the dishes.

We celebrated my father's 80th birthday here. Wow! The food was really, really good - especially the prawns with walnuts in that sweet creamy sauce! Oh my Lord! The birthday was 3 months ago, and I am STILL thinking about those prawns! The lettuce wraps were pretty good too!

Get the Capital Prawns, they are expensive, but they are so worth it!

This restaurant is the standard I hold all other Chinese restaurants to. Best. Food. Ever.

We drive from Langley to this restaurant as we find their food delicious. Many dishes in other chinese restaurants taste the same...at Capital everything is tasty. many unique dishes. Crips, fresh veggies. piping hot and the service is good. LOVE IT!!!!

We drive an hour for there awesome food. Nice inside and always had good service.

Service was decent, loud annoying cooks in the back, lousy food. The only decent thing we had was the wonton soup. Needs major renovations.

Always an excellent choice for Chinese dining in Chwk. The food is tasty, portions are large & service is friendly. Lots of yummy choices on their large menu

Poor service, very poor service, great food some times, depending on the cook, but terrible LOUSY service, so they lost a long time customer.
